We adored Steve at our dog rescue because the Gaddum's adopted Hansel from us.  Hansel was a senior and one of the "throw-away dogs" as are all older dogs who come to rescuers.  Most seniors in dog rescues are rarely wanted by people usually looking for puppies or younger dogs.

Hansel later developed some serious eye problems and went blind yet he is still their beloved boy following Juliette around for wiener adventures in his old age.

We sincerely thank you for giving Hansel the perfect home.

We will miss your smile Steve and all the funny dog stories.

Sincerely,
Margo, DRNW Director
Carolyn, DRNW Assistant Director

For those who do not know Steve passed away from a car wreck while doing volunteer work for the food bank.  He was taken way too soon.  Please see his obituary below.
